ECT International Qualifies as a Schneider Electric Unity Partner

Brookfield, WI, May 30, 2005, ECT International has announced that is has qualified as a Schneider Electric Unity Partner. Unity Partners are software companies that have developed integrated solutions between their products and the Unity software platform.

Unity is an entirely redesigned range of automation software based on openness and collaboration between software at every stage of the application life cycle. Together with the new Premium, Atrium and Quantum PLCs, Unity offers a new approach of developing software and operating automation systems with productivity as the main priority.

Working together, ECT and Schneider have ensured that ECT's promis•e® control system design software can interface to Unity, allowing the sharing of the PLC configuration and the I/O points definition. The promis•e software can auto-generate PLC I/O drawings based on data from Unity.
